If you live under a rock (or don’t live in America), you may not have heard about the tiny little hurricane called “Ike” that is about to do its best to decimate Texas. Coincidently, Ganymede is hosted in Texas. The good news is that of the two cities our provider has datacenters in, we’re further from the coast.

Either way, there is a good chance Ganymede may experience outages over the next few days due to extreme weather.

Update: Ganymede never lost power or connectivity during the hurricane, although it was removed from the network as a precaution. It has been reconnected.

Hello everyone, we are performing server upgrades today thanks to the bug being fixed.

We are currently rerouting users due to multiple networking problems that hit us simultaneously.

Users on servers other than Ganymede and Wolverine may notice recurring outages, or be unable to connect. As always, irc.mozor.net will connect you to an active server.

Due to a little nasty InspIRCd bug, we have the following servers offline due to sync issues.

• Butters.us.mozor.net (Also down for a host upgrade which will take place tomorrow)
• Ganymede.us.mozor.net (Struggles from the nasty bug)
• Eden.us.mozor.net (Affected from ganymede being offline)

Servers are expected to return tomorrow evening.

Update: Everything is relinked, still monitoring the bug situation. Butters completed the upgrade as well.
